LA TOURISTA  raced 7 furlongs on the dirt at Churchill on the way to win #7. WAR TOURIST won first time out of the gate. She dueled from the start sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs at the Fair Grounds and prevailed by 1 3/4 lengths. She is owned and trained by Justin Jeansonne and co-owned by Mike Powers.

MANDONA broke her maiden in November and has been on the board in her next 4 starts with a win in the most recent one. She was reserved just off the pace and then dueled and drew off to an 8-length lead and finally galloped home to win by 1/2 a length. She is trained by Rafael S. Barraza for RB Racing.

The wonderfully named ON VACATION came from off the pace and cleared the field for a win by 1 1/4 going a mile on the all-weather surface at Golden Gate. She is a homebred for Louis Neve and is trained by Brendan W. Galvin.

WENTRU Tops at Keeneland Finale Wentru (Tourist) (hip 1571), a 5-year-old gelding coming off a win in the GIII Valedictory S. at Woodbine in December, will be joining the barn of trainer Will Walden after selling for a sessiontopping $200,000. Frank Taylor made the winning bid on the dark bay, who was supplemented to the auction as part of the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment, and signed the ticket as Will Walden Racing Stable.

WENTRU and Who's the Star shared the winner's circle in a compelling running of the Valedictory Stakes  G3 Sunday at Woodbine.

TOERIS  broke her maiden at Santa Anita and followed that up with a stakes placing in the Jimmy Durante Stakes (Gr. 3)at Del Mar last fall. Moving to the east coast after a long break, she ran 3rd in allowance company and today won going a mile in an AOC on the turf at Gulfstream - sneaking up the rail for the win. She is owned and was bred by Team Valor International & Gary Barber and is trained by Mark E. Casse

Tourist  , a grade 1 winning son of Tiznow who earned $2,170,340 and holds the record for running the fastest Breeders' Cup Mile (G1T) in 2016, is being relocated to Rockridge Stud near Hudson, N.Y., for the 2023 season. He will stand for $3,500 next year.
